My Name is
Katherine
Katherine
Social Services referred Katherine to Rafiki because she was abandoned by her parents. Social services decided to remove her from her home and place her in a more permanent and safer condition. Katherine arrived at Rafiki Village Uganda in April 2006 and has enjoyed her new home with her mother, brothers, and sisters ever since. She loves playing basketball. Kathy is a good team player and displays good sportsmanship. Kathy's favorite subjects are math, English, and biology. She is receiving help for her physics and chemistry classes. On a recent field trip, she learned about growing artificial tuft to provide feeds for rabbits. She is working to improve her Luganda skills. She enjoys early sacred music lessons and appreciates the fact that music has been a gift from God since the beginning of the world. Kathy plays the viola in the Rafiki Youth Orchestra.
