My Name is
Jonathan
Jonathan
Jonathan’s mother died in March 2007, and his father died some years earlier. After his mother's death, he was cared for by an aunt and elderly grandmother. The two women were unable to care for Jonathan and asked the Rafiki Foundation for help. Jonathan was approved and arrived at the Rafiki Village Zambia in 2008. Jonathan holds a leadership position in school, and it teaches him about humility and working well with others. He believes Jesus is his Lord and Savior who died for him on the cross and took his sins away. He knows God has given him a new heart and made him His child. Jonathan has learned that God is always with him and that He is the greatest.
