My Name is
Jackson
Jackson
Jackson’s mother and father died of health complications in 2013. Jackson and his two older siblings lived on their own until their house was falling down around them. The village authorities discovered the children and asked the Rafiki Foundation to care for Jackson. The older children are living in temporary housing provided by the village authorities. Jackson arrived at the Rafiki Village Rwanda in 2013. Jackson is a very active and strong young man who gets along well with others. He works diligently in school. Due to developments in Rwanda, Jackson is living off-site from the Village. We are, however, still supporting him through a full school scholarship and two meals a day.
