My Name is

Child Village: Nigeria
Child ID: CC099
Isaac’s Father died in 2006 from an illness and his mother died during Isaac’s birth. Isaac and his older sister, Kiziya, were placed in the care of their uncle when the parents died. He contacted Social Welfare for help since he could no longer care for the children. They arrived at Rafiki Village Nigeria in May 2007. Currently in the 5th grade, Isaac is a good student who does well in most subjects. He is trying to be more interested in history. He says he needs to know more about people in the past to make it easier to handle the future. When asked who makes it most exciting to learn, he says it is Teacher Joseph because if students don't do their homework he will make them do it anyway. He has begun learning French.
