My Name is
George
George
George's mother abandoned him, and his father remains unknown. He and his brothers were placed in the care of an elderly woman for a time. In 2011, medical complications made it impossible for her to care for them any longer. The Ministry of Health and Social Welfare asked the Rafiki Foundation for help, and they arrived at the Rafiki Village in 2011. George enjoys learning about his country's history. He hopes to be a professional baseball player when he grows up. George is thankful to the Lord for providing for him through his sponsors. His favorite Bible verse is Psalm 46:1 because it declares that anytime we are in trouble, God will help us.
