My Name is
George
George
George was abandoned as a baby and taken to a local orphanage. He moved to the Rafiki Village Uganda in February 2003. He soon began thriving at Rafiki and is thankful for the nutritious food, a bed of his own, and the opportunity to attend school. George enjoys playing sports and is a member of the Rafiki choir. George’s favorite school subject is science because he enjoys conducting experiments. George also enjoys playing the cello. From the Rafiki Bible Study, George has learned that righteousness is a gift from God and that there is nothing he can do to try and earn God's favor. He wants to live in harmony with others, and he is convinced that it is important to love others genuinely.
