My Name is

Child Village: Tanzania
Child ID: CH044
Furaha and her two cousins were cared for by their elderly grandmother after the death of their fathers. They are from the Maasai tribe and lived deep in the bush. Their uncle contacted Rafiki about the need of a home and a future for the girls and was impressed with the goal of raising children to be godly leaders in their country. The three girls arrived at Rafiki Village Tanzania in 2012. Furaha continues to be an excellent student who is serious about her education. Furaha loves school and loves to learn. She did well on her Grade 4 national exam this past year, and she works hard in school. Furaha is always polite and cooperative at home and at school. Furaha has a desire to learn even at this young age. She is capable of achieving whatever educational goals she sets for herself. She is motivated and willing to work for her education.
