Rafiki Foundation  |  Training Africans to Transform Africa for Christ

My Name is

Child Village: Uganda
Child ID: CB062
Eva was placed under the care of an uncle when her mother died in 2004. Eva's younger sister died under the care of her uncle and Social Services recommended that Rafiki consider taking her in. Eva joined the Rafiki Village Uganda family in September 2006. She says her favorite thing to do is read novels. Her favorite Bible verse is from Hebrews 13:6: “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear, what can man do to me?” Eva is studying a combination of four subjects at the advanced level. They are economics, general paper, history, and literature. She is also taking subsidiary math at the ordinary level. Her new school environment is challenging and different from Rafiki Schools in several ways. St. Augustine's College has one thousand students from all over Uganda! Eva loves reading novels, plays, and poetry, and she excels in literature. She is enthusiastic about economics because it is a practical subject. Eva is receiving help with subsidiary math, what she calls "my troublesome subject."
