Rafiki Foundation  |  Training Africans to Transform Africa for Christ

My Name is

Child Village: Nigeria
Child ID: CC054
Ethan’s mother died shortly after he was born and his father died in 2002. The local pastor in the village assumed the care of Ethan. In 2004, the village where Ethan was living was involved in religious riots in which many of the adults were killed. Rafiki was contacted by a local relief group to investigate taking some of the orphans from this village. Ethan, along with two other children was admitted to the Rafiki Village Nigeria in 2004. Ethan is a good student who is doing well in school. He says his most improved subject is math, which he is enjoying more. The teacher who helps him learn the most is Uncle Victor in math because he gives many good examples. He desires to keep learning more and to help develop his country into a better place for the coming generation. Ethan is considering the possibility of large-scale farming when he graduates.
