My Name is
Ester

Ester
Ester was in the care of her impoverished grandmother after her parents died of a fatal illness. There were many times when Ester had only one meal a day. When she came to Rafiki Village Malawi in 2007, she was very malnourished. In the first four months of living in the Village, she gained eight pounds and grew four inches. Ester soon proved to be an obedient, quiet student who strives to do her best. Ester says she has come to know Jesus through the Scriptures and creation. She trusts the Lord and has made a commitment to trust Him all the days of her life.
