Rafiki Foundation  |  Training Africans to Transform Africa for Christ

My Name is

Child Village: Uganda
Child ID: CB100
Emmanuel was referred to the Rafiki Foundation by Katherine Hines Ministries, a local orphanage in Kampala. He was in the care of his elderly grandmother. She struggled daily to provide for his needs. Social Welfare asked the Rafiki Foundation to take over the care of Emmanuel. He arrived at his new home in July of 2009. He soon began to grow physically strong and healthy. He always has a big smile for everyone! Emmanuel has learned that God has created everything wonderfully and with beautiful colors in art class and that each creature perfectly fits its ecosystem in science class. His favorite subject is social studies, and he especially enjoys learning about different people groups in Uganda and their unique native languages. His teachers have encouraged him to practice his math, to pay greater attention to spelling, and to read more A-Z readers. He has started to learn cursive and enjoys this fun and exciting writing style.
