Emmanuel Kobi

Child Village: Ghana
Child ID: CA066
Emmanuel (Kobi) and his two brothers Prince and Randy were abandoned by their mother when she left to visit relatives and never returned. They were given to a caregiver who was eighty-four years old and struggled to care for the boys. Social welfare services asked the Rafiki Foundation to assume the boys' care, and Kobi and his brothers arrived at the Rafiki Village Ghana in 2009. He soon proved to be a quiet, pensive, and insightful student with a quick and fun sense of humor. His favorite subject is French. Kobi is an example for other children in the Village, and his years of Bible study has given him an excellent spiritual foundation. He sees God's faithfulness in his life in that God has cared for him and brought him to Rafiki to learn and grow.
