My Name is
Emmanuel

Emmanuel
Emmanuel’s mother died in 2007, and his father drowned in a river while fishing in 2009. There are no family members able to care for Emmanuel. He was living with an aunt and uncle who have no children of their own. They struggled to care for their own children as well as Emmanuel, and they asked the Rafiki Foundation for help. Emmanuel arrived at the Rafiki Village Liberia in 2010. He loves to learn about science because he hopes to be a doctor and knows that Liberia is in need of good doctors. Emmanuel's favorite Bible verse is 2 Timothy 3:16 because it teaches him that all Scripture comes from God.
