My Name is
Eliya
Eliya
After Eliya’s parents died, he was placed in the care of his aunt. His aunt had four children of her own and was about to give birth to a fifth. She was unable to care for Eliya and his brother, Eric. Social Welfare approved the boys, and they arrived at the Rafiki Village Rwanda in 2010. They soon thrived in their new environment with nutritious food, a bed of their own, and the opportunity to attend school. Eliya knows that God has a plan for him. He is increasingly grateful to be at Rafiki, and he realizes what a blessing it is. From studying the book of Romans in the Rafiki Bible Study, Eliya has learned that we must walk in a manner worthy of God by doing our best for Him.
