My Name is
Dativa
Dativa
Dativa’s mother died of AIDs, and her father is unknown to the family. Before her mother died, she gave birth to her half-sister, Mutoni. Both of the girls lived with their elderly grandmother for a time. The girls' grandmother asked social welfare for help in taking care of her two granddaughters. Both girls were approved and arrived at the Rafiki Village Rwanda in 2008. Dativa soon benefited from the quality care, nutritious food, and family environment at the Village. As her faith grows, Dativa says that God is opening her eyes and helping her understand that He has special plans for her. She seeks to strengthen her faith and share the gospel with unbelievers.
