My Name is
Darris
Darris
Darris's parents were killed during the conflict in the Ivory Coast. He and his sister, Martha, were put in the care of their impoverished grandmother. Though she tried, she could not provide for the children's basic needs. Darris and his sister arrived at the Rafiki Village Liberia in 2011. Darrius enjoys studying science because he likes to learn about God's creation. He is not quite sure what he wants to be when he grows up yet, but he trusts that the Lord will lead him. His favorite hymn is "Holy, Holy, Holy" because it reminds him of the incomprehensible holiness of God.
