My Name is
Clarisse
Clarisse
Clarisse's elderly grandmother cared for her since her birth. Clarisse's grandmother sustained injuries in the Rwandan genocide which left her with physical limitations, and her husband was killed. Though she tried, Clarisse's mother could not provide for her needs and sought help to raise her. Clarisse was approved by Social Welfare and arrived at the Rafiki Village Rwanda in 2012. Clarisse is now a friendly and outgoing young woman. Due to developments in Rwanda, she is currently living off-site from the Village. We are, however, still supporting her through a full scholarship and two meals daily. Clarisse attends church regularly and reads her Bible. She has learned from studying the Bible at Rafiki that she should live a life pleasing to God, and she strives to do just that!
