My Name is

Ato

Ato

Child Village: Ghana
Child ID: CA021
Both of Ato's parents were deaf, mute, and mentally challenged. Since his parents were unable to care for him, Ato and his brother, Richman, stayed with a grandmother or other distant relatives who eventually found that they were unable to provide for the children's basic needs. Ato and his brother arrived at the Rafiki Village Ghana in 2002. Ato is a very active young man, and he loves to be in the middle of everything that is going on. In his Bible studies, Ato has learned about the importance of choosing godly friends. He enjoys reflecting on the lyrics of "Life a River Glorious" because he is reminded of the peace, love, and joy he has through Christ.
DOB: Dec 30, 2000
