My Name is
Alice
Alice
Both Alice's mother and father died in 2005, and her grandparents were also deceased. Alice was left in the care of her eighteen-year-old brother who, though he tried, could not properly care for her and her three other siblings. She arrived at the Rafiki Village Kenya in 2006. She soon proved to be a teachable and enthusiastic young woman. She is a hard-working student who excels at language arts, especially reading and literature. She also enjoys playing soccer. Alice has learned to be grateful to God for a place to live, for good teachers, and for her friends. She expresses appreciation for the simplest things and sees everything as a gift. Alice continues to grow spiritually as she reads and applies God's Word to her daily life.
