My Name is
Alice
Alice
Alice was abandoned and given to her grandmother when she was only five months old. Two years later, her grandmother passed away and Alice was given over to her aunt. The aunt was single, taking care of many children, did not have a paying job, and was, therefore, unable to care for Alice. Rafiki was contacted and Alice was approved by social welfare. She arrived at Rafiki Village Rwanda in November 2009. Alice is an excellent student and highly motivated to do her best work. Alice has learned that she needs to pray to God when she is uncertain about the future. She has to trust that God has a good plan for her, and this gives her hope and courage. She gives God praise for the answers to prayer she has seen.
