Akosua and her twin brother, Kwasi, were in the care of their grandfather after the death of their parents. He was unemployed and could not feed and clothe his grandchildren. Social Welfare asked the Rafiki Foundation to assume the care of these children. They arrived at their new home at the Rafiki Village Ghana in December 2009. Akosua loves to be held and cuddled. She is becoming a confident and competent young lady with a very strong will. She loves reading.
