Agnes

Child Village: Uganda
Child ID: CB031
Agnes was abandoned by her family and was referred to the Rafiki Village Uganda at two years of age. She now enjoys the fellowship of other Rafiki children and a loving Rafiki mother. Agnes enjoys learning about God's world, living organisms, animals, and habitats. She finds them all in her best and favorite subjects: English, geography, and biology. She is working hard to improve in her Luganda and entrepreneurship classes. She is memorizing a Luganda phrase that translates to "First learn: put effort into learning before you take the next step." In a biology experiment, she learned how to prepare an iodine solution by mixing iodine and potassium iodide solids in a mortar.
