Abel

Child Village: Kenya
Child ID: CD083
Abel was found abandoned as a baby. A good Samaritan rescued him and attended to him before proceeding to take him to a village elder and then to the police. A female police officer took custody of him while they tried to look for the mother; he was later moved to a orphanage. After years of being unable to find his birth parents or an adoptive home for Abel, he was referred to Rafiki Village Kenya. He arrived in July 2009 and settled in well! Abel recently discovered that BCE means the years Before Christ and that they were counted in descending order. He loves Mathematics and Language Arts, but he tries to have balance in all subjects. He leads group discussions and coordinates group projects. He is exceptional in godly character and very orderly. He has improved in public speaking and rhetorical writing. He can struggle with consistency and can need support for decision-making.
DOB: Sep 4, 2005
