My Name is
John
John
John’s mother abandoned him, and his father remains unknown. He and his two siblings have been in the care of their blind, impoverished grandmother. Though she tried, she could not provide for their basic needs. John and his two siblings arrived at the Rafiki Village Kenya in 2009, and they quickly began to enjoy their new home. John takes his school work seriously and often discusses learning topics outside of class with his peers. He has especially enjoyed studying the book of Romans and language arts. His understanding of biblical doctrines is increasing, and he has grown in his teachable and joyful spirit. He continues to grow in the love of Christ by reading God's Word, praying, and marveling at God's creation.
