My Name is
Genet
Genet
Genet’s mother died when she was a year old, and her father is unknown. A kind neighbor took Genet in and cared for her after her mother’s death. This neighbor had four children of his own and also took care of his elderly mother, so he sought help from Social Welfare. Genet arrived at the Rafiki Village Ethiopia in 2012. She is now full of joy and love for others, and she is a helpful young woman. God's word has taught Genet many things. She says that He teaches her as she reads the Bible. Genet especially loves Psalm 23 because it reminds her that the Lord is her shepherd, and she will live in His house forever.
