My Name is
Semegne
Semegne
Semegne was orphaned shortly after she was born. Her mother abandoned her, and her father is dead. Semegne's aunt cared for her but found it difficult to find enough food for both Semegne and her own children. Semegne was very malnourished when she arrived at the Rafiki Village in March 2015, but she grew stronger each day with a well-balanced diet, a good routine, and lots of play. Semegne now enjoys studying the Bible. Her favorite story in the Bible is the story about David and Goliath because David doesn't boast in his own power; he boasts in the power of God. It reminds her to trust in God and not her own ability.
