My Name is
Joshua
Joshua
Joshua and his twin brother, Samuel, arrived at Rafiki Village Liberia in July 2013. Their mother had passed away after contracting malaria, and their father also died the same year. The boys were put in the care of their elderly grandmother who could not properly care for them. Before coming to the Village, they lived in difficult conditions. They soon benefited from the quality care, nutritious food, and loving environment at the Village. Joshua enjoys reading. He hopes to be a mechanic when he grows up. As his faith grows, Joshua continues to grow in humility and patience. His favorite hymn, "Stand Up, Stand Up for Jesus," reminds him to stand firm in everything he does and believes.
